Transforming Formal Events with Poise and Confidence
Esteem Cotillion gracefully shapes sophisticated social gatherings in West Texas, blending elegance and etiquette for unforgettable experiences.
Pre-Cotillion
Students in 4th and 5th grades traditionally meet for four consecutive Tuesday evenings throughout the month of February for an hour and a half. Parents are invited to participate in the Tumbleweed Ball which is held on the last night of the course.
Junior Cotillion
Students in 6th and 7th grades are traditionally scheduled to meet for four consecutive Thursday evenings throughout the month of February for an hour and a half. Parents are invited to join the Flapper's Ball held on the last night of the course.
Chaperones
Parents and grandparents are encouraged to volunteer to assist in directing students through receiving lines, personal introductions, dining techniques, etc. Serving as a chaperone is also a great way for adults to "freshen-up" on their own personal social skills.
Dress Code
Cotillion focuses on teaching teens to dress for succss as well as dressing for the occasion. Young men are required to wear dress shirts and ties. Suits and sportcoats are optional. Young ladies should wear "dressy" dresses or skirts with low heels. Additionally, girls are required to wear wrist-length white gloves. No strapless tops and no denim except for the Tumbleweed Ball.
Tumbleweed Ball
Pre-Cotillion students culminate their four-week course with a lively evening of country and western dancing. Parents are invited and western attire is encouraged. This is the only evening that denim is acceptable.
Flapper's Ball
On the last night of cotillion, we step back into the Roaring Twenties for a fun retro-filled evening of dancing "Chicago-Style." Parents are invited to participate thus allowing their students to showcase many of the skills learned throughout the course.
